Three CROME researchers presented on recent research into the following topics:
Dr Stephanos Avakian
The presentation covered two research projects which involve some of the latest research developments in the management consulting field. This first project examines the social construction of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at a firm level. The second project explores recent changes to procurement reform structures, focusing on the replacement of the large IT Aspire programme by HM Revenue & Customs.
Darren Connolly
Darren Connolly provided an overview of a PhD proposal; including research questions, aims of the investigation and proposed plan of work.
Dr Mark Hughes
This presentation showcased three forthcoming publications covering the apparent death of change management, the failure of transformation-based accounts of leadership and a 35-year critical review of what we know about the leadership of organisational change.
