Why do we collect your data?
We take your details to ensure that you are kept informed of information that relates to your course and subject of interest. We will also use this information to send you relevant information and event invitations about those subjects and courses.
If you wish to change your communication preferences, you can do this at any time by accessing your preference centre using the link that you received in your email confirmation.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, though please note that if you withdraw your consent prior to any event date, this may impact on our ability to process your booking, keep you up to date with any changes relating to the programme for the day or supplementary information (such as parking arrangements).
How your data is held
Your personal data is held within our booking system (Akero) and accessed by staff within the Marketing and Communications department and Business School who manage and run the open day events and send out related communications.
Where is your data held?
All data relating to the booking is held within the EEA and will not be transferred outside of the EEA.
How long we will keep your data?
We will retain your data for a period of two years.

Whether providing personal data is a statutory or contractual requirement and the consequences for failing to provide the data
There is no statutory or contractual requirement to provide your personal data to us, we are processing it with your consent.
The existence of automated decision making, including profiling, information about the logic involved, including the significance and the envisaged consequences of such processing for the data subject
We will not use your personal data for automated decision making / or profiling about you as an individual.
