Clair qualified from the University of Brighton in 1994 and worked in the NHS and private practice before starting at the university as a lecturer/practitioner in 1999. She completed an MSc in Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2001 and her PhD in 2014. Alongside her academic role, Clair works clinically at the University Leaf Hospital.
