    About the course

Health and Management enables students with experience of the public sector or health management to study disciplines and dimensions associated with health, healthcare and applied social science with an emphasis on management.

Each student on this course is able to create their own unique set of modules associated with health, health care, applied social science and management. At the start of the course you will consult with the course leader, and complete a s.w.o.t. analysis alongside using the university's studentprofile system enabling you to review your current achievements and highlight areas for further development. On this basis a tailored choice of modules is created which includes three taught modules from a list of approved management modules taught within the Faculty of Health and Social Science. A further two modules are then chosen from the faculty graduate programme and the MSc is completed with the dissertation which will normally have a management component. This is reviewed annually through tutorials with the student and allocated personal tutor.
