The on-going support of an academic team combined with an enthusiastic graduate has aided us in the development of a strategic plan that is the blueprint of our company operations for the next six years. Our management team now has strategic growth knowledge embedded - I can't imagine any other way we could have developed such a strong strategic plan. We are already looking for a second project!

Access Innovate UK funding

You don't have to saddle the cost full cost of investing in R&D. Many companies are eligible to claim tax credits on R&D spend, and if you partner with a University you can access government funding of between 50% to 67% of the total cost of your project via a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTPs).

Am I eligible?

Companies of any size and a range of sectors are eligible to apply for a Knowledge Transfer Partnership.

To be eligible, companies should:

  • Have been running for a least two years
  • Have at least five employees
  • Have the infrastructure to support a KTP Associate and the project

*The Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 acknowledged the University of Brighton as a top 5 University for world-leading research impact in Business and Management Studies.

The REF is the system for assessing the quality of research in higher education institutions in the UK and is used to inform the allocation of research funding from major funding bodies.
