Falmer campus facilities 

Our teaching courses are based at our Brighton Falmer campus where specialist facilities include: the curriculum centre with 30,000 resources for trainee teachers, school classrooms for different subjects, workshops, photography darkroom, kiln room, and our performance studio.

There are also extensive sport facilities at Falmer including outdoor grass football pitches, an indoor swimming pool and sports hall.

Outstanding training

Our primary and secondary initial teacher training was rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted in 2024 and supplemented by varied placement opportunities with our 600 partner schools. You will also have access to facilities such as our curriculum centre with its 30,000 specialist resources for trainee teachers.

Choice of routes

Our long-established PGCE programme includes primary, secondary and further education routes, with nine specialist secondary subjects to choose from. We also offer a School Connect PGCE, School Direct Salaried and the teacher apprenticeship.
