Outstanding training

Our primary, secondary and early years initial teacher training is rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted and supplemented by varied placement opportunities with our 600 partner schools. You will also have access to facilities such as our curriculum centre with its 30,000 specialist resources for trainee teachers.

Choice of routes

Our long-established PGCE programme includes primary, secondary and further education routes, with 12 specialist secondary subjects to choose from. We also offer Early Years Initial Teacher Training, School Direct Training and Salaried programmes, and teaching apprenticeships.

Our trainee teachers benefit from excellent employment rates after graduation that are consistently above the sector average. We will also continue to support you after you qualify through our NQT support programme, so you won't have to start your career on your own.
