Our research and enterprise projects

Research undertaken by the centre members is innovative, multi-disciplinary, and often collaborative, with clear social and economic impact.

Research projects both encompass and interrogate the natural and social sciences, and arts and humanities, creating new ways of thinking about, and engaging with, space, environment and culture. The centre nurtures both established and new researchers, encouraging rigorous, creative and impactful research projects that interrogate existing knowledge and practices. In doing so, our research helps to push the boundaries of disciplinary thinking on space, environment and culture in meaningful and socially productive ways.
