Our on-campus non-residential summer schools give you the opportunity to take part in an intensive, project-based university experience in a specific subject. You'll get a taste of what to expect if you choose to study at higher education and develop your skills and evidence to support UCAS applications. We have non-residential summer schools in business and law and art and design.

This is your the chance to try out what it’s like studying at university. You will get a chance to explore varied sessions during the day to give you a taste of different courses, social activities in the evening, and overnight stays in our halls of residence – all supported by our undergraduate students at the University of Brighton. We have residential summer schools for humanities, social sciences, science and engineering, health professions and sport.

Our online summer schools offer you the chance to get a taste of what it's like to study a subject you love at university. Find out about the university experience from lecturers, current students and university staff. You'll take part in taster sessions and a subject-specific project that could be used to support your personal statement. We have online summer schools in the following subjects: architecture and product design, art and design, business, economics, law, and marketing, media, film, and journalism, computing, engineering and construction, geography and environment, biological sciences and pharmacy, sport, health and social work, education and teaching, history, politics and English, criminology, psychology and sociology.
