RESP supports academics to maximise the income and impact of their research, consultancy and enterprise activities. It includes Knowledge Exchange Managers, the Enterprise Team, the IP and Contracts team, the Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) Centre, Research Services, the Green Growth Platform, Community University Partnership Programme (CUPP), the Sussex Learning Network and Community 21.

Dr Shona Campbell
As Associate Director, Enterprise Services, Shona shares responsibility for managing the Department of Research, Enterprise and Social Partnerships. She manages the Enterprise Team who develop opportunities to generate income and impact from applying academic expertise with non-HEI partners, and commercialising academic expertise. She also has cross-departmental responsibility for external marketing and the Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF).

Ingrid Pugh
As Associate Director, Research Services, Ingrid shares responsibility for managing the Department of Research, Enterprise and Social Partnerships. She manages the research pre-award team who support the development of research bids. The team also support researcher development including the R and E workshop programme, the development and delivery of the Concordat Implementation Plan and internal research initiatives. She is the university’s REF Manager.

Ronit Rose
As Associate Director, Contracts and R and E Governance, Ronit shares responsibility for managing the Department of Research, Enterprise and Social Partnerships. She manages the Contracts, IP and R and E Governance team who ensures that research and enterprise projects are managed ethically and responsibly, provides legal services on broad contractual and IP related matters, protects innovation and safeguards against financial risks and reputational damage.
