How do I book onto an applicant day?
When booking opens we will send you an email inviting you to your applicant day. You should log on to the applicant area of studentcentral to find available dates, book your place and find out more about the day.
Can I bring a guest?
We welcome guests to our applicant days, however the main aim of the day is to support applicants in making their choice of course so we may limit the number of guests who can attend some activities – such as subject talks. It would help us and other applicants if you could bring no more than one guest with you on the day.
Additional needs and support
Help us make your day as enjoyable as possible by telling us in advance about any support needs or dietary requirements you or your guest have, You can do this when you book your place through the applicant area of studentcentral or you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When can I see my timetable for the applicant day?
You can log into the applicant area of studentcentral two weeks before your event to see your timetable. We'll email you details about your day, including your timetable and how to get here, a few days before your event.
I’ve been to an open day – should I come to an applicant day?
We would encourage you to visit us again – we want you to make an informed choice about your course and university! An applicant day is an excellent opportunity to find out more about the course you have applied for and to ask questions.
I can’t make my applicant day, how do I rebook?
Log onto the applicant area of studentcentral and cancel your booking (you need to do this whether the applicant day has passed or if it's in the future). You'll then be able to book another date.
Do applicant days run in bad weather?
If the campus is open and the forecast is not predicting worsening weather we will aim to run the applicant day where possible. Should we need to cancel an applicant day due to a weather warning we will get in touch with you. Advice about campus closures is posted on our website.
If poor weather means you can't travel log on to the applicant area of studentcentral to book another date.
