The scheme allows those with a viable and innovative business idea to develop a new business in Sussex.
Advice and guidance is provided during business development by beepurple, the university’s entrepreneurship support service.
Endorsements are issued for 12 months in the first instance, with the possibility of extending the endorsement for a further 12 months if sufficient progress has been made in year one.
The University of Brighton has 10 places available under the scheme each year. The places are allocated on a competitive basis involving a two-stage application process. Only the strongest applications will be considered for endorsement.
Who can apply?
If you are an international graduate, and have been awarded a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or PhD, from the University of Brighton during the past three years, you are eligible to apply for the scheme. Applicants can either be in, or outside, the UK at the time of application.
