Lorraine graduated from Brighton College of Education with an honours degree in geography and education. Ten years later, she returned to the university to become a lecturer. From 2004-2015, she was Head of the School of Education – a role that gave her many opportunities to shape and influence education provision across a range of contexts.
The School of Education is one of the largest teacher training organisations in the UK and was the first provider to achieve an outstanding rating from Ofsted for its management and quality assurance across primary, secondary and further education and training. This is indicative of Lorraine’s commitment to ensuring the highest quality student experiences; enabling students to become highly effective, successful practitioners.
