Details of the academic and English language requirements for your course are on our course finder. We help many students from New Zealand to improve their qualifications to meet entry requirements.
We require a University Entrance Certificate with National Certificates in Educational Achievement (NCEA) Level 3. Applicants must have a total of more than 80 credits with a majority of Merits / Excellences in subjects to be studied at Higher Education Institutions (these are expressed on the Record of Learning).

English language equivalency
We will accept grades of Achieved, Merit and Excellence in the English component of the National Certificate in Educational Achievement Level 2 as meeting our minimum English language proficiency requirements.
New Zealand nationals and students who have successfully completed an academic qualification equivalent to a UK degree in New Zealand are currently exempt from Home Office English language requirements.

Immigration and visas
Generally, prior entry clearance (ie a visa) is required for students coming from New Zealand. To obtain a visa you will need to have an unconditional offer of a place at the University of Brighton and your CAS number from the university. You will need to prove that you have the funds to pay your tuition fees and living expenses.
