When I started my course, I thought that I would be going to lectures and then struggling through work independently, but the lab sessions and support from the staff helped me to build my knowledge and gain confidence in my learning. Being able to talk to staff who are passionate about what they teach, and gain first-hand experience of the subject areas that I am most interested in really helped.
