They will see how blood enters the heart, how the real heartstrings work, and how the heart beats. The dissection will be followed by Q+As.
The session will be run by Dr Claire Smith and Ms Catherine Hennessy from Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
Matters of the Heart takes place between 6.30 and 7.30pm at The Walrus pub in Ship Street, Brighton. Tickets are £4.40 (including 40p booking fee). Proceeds will be donated to Sussex Heart Charity.
