Every year the university surveys its recent graduates to find out what they have done approximately six months after leaving, as part of a national survey called Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE).
Based on information from our 2015-16 leavers, the number of graduates going into employment and/or further study remains strong and has continued to increase year on year.
The university is pleased to announce our Employment Performance Indicator for UK, full-time, first degree leavers is the highest we have seen in the history of this survey at 94.4% - up 1.5 percentage points from last year.
Across the university, 91.6% (up 4.8% since 2011-12) of graduates, postgraduates and holders of other awards went into employment, further study or training within six months of completing their course. Unemployment has also fallen by 0.7% from the previous year.
