Brighton Student Skills Hub: English language courses and support

Our Brighton Student Skills Hub (BSSH) provides a comprehensive range of academic English language courses and support for all students. 

Pre-sessional English language courses

Term time pre-sessional English language courses and summer pre-sessional programmes for students who want to improve their language skills before starting their UK degree. Successful completion of a pre-sessional English language programme guarantees your progression to most undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the University of Brighton.

In-sessional academic English support

The Brighton Student Skills Hub provides students with a range of in-sessional academic support services. The BSSH works with each school to support co-curricular study skill provision.
