International students apply to the university in the same way as UK students, but there are different application procedures for different types of courses:

We require a Hong Kong Advanced Level Certificate (HKALC) when awarded after seven years of secondary education or the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE).

Immigration and visas
Hong Kong is a region of many nationalities, including many people with citizenship of the UK but residency in Hong Kong. Your residential status will determine your tuition fees and the type of visa you will require to come to the UK to study.
Generally, prior entry clearance (ie a visa) is required for students coming from Hong Kong. To obtain a visa you will need to have an unconditional offer of a place at the University of Brighton and your CAS number from the university. You will need to prove that you have the funds to pay your tuition fees and living expenses.
