Our research and knowledge exchange organisation

The University of Brighton organises its research and knowledge exchange through dedicated centres and groups, working in interdisciplinary ways to develop research, ensure its impact and promote its potential.

Working towards ways to tackle global challenges, our Centres of Research and Knowledge Exchange Excellence (COREs) address focused research agendas and contemporary societal challenges. Our Research and Enterprise Groups (REGs) are the incubators for research excellence and build connections and capacity in both emerging and established areas of interest.

This research environment provides a critical mass of expertise around a series of core subject areas. It also offers a first touch-point and nurturing network for new appointees, early career researchers (ECRs) and postgraduate researchers (PGRs).
