Potsdam - Berlin, changing cities

Developing out of her previous exploration of the city of Berlin as a site of memory and transformation (Utopian Architecture, RAE2008, and StadtLandschaften), in the solo exhibition at the KunstHaus Potsdam ‘Potsdam – Berlin, Changing Cities’, Emma Stibbon makes a connection between memory, history, and cycles of architectural destruction and reconstruction.

Project aims

Twenty new drawings focus on the contrasting cities of Postdam and Berlin. Stibbon draws attention to the traces left by political events and social upheaval evident in the changing urban landscape.
