Support for our students

We don’t just want our students to succeed, we want them to feel good too. The University of Brighton is a supportive and inclusive community and we have a support system in place to help our students prioritise their emotional and mental wellbeing. Whatever students are going through, there is help at hand.

Our wellbeing services have specialists on hand and more enhanced support if students need a bit more help.

Day to day support includes:

  • Student Support and Guidance Tutors – who are an invaluable source of information and advice
  • Residential Life Advisers – they provide wellbeing support for students living in our halls of residence
  • Health services
  • Faith and spirituality team offer pastoral support to all students whatever their faith
  • Finance related issues – our Student Advice Service is confidential non-judgemental and free of charge
  • A range of self-help resources
