What support can I get?

The Student Enterprise team runs panel events, workshops and competitions throughout the academic year, designed to build your entrepreneurial skill set, improve your employability and help you grow a successful and sustainable business, creative practice, community project or freelance career.

We also offer you one-to-one mentoring and advice sessions to provide you with a sounding board for your ideas, put you in touch with experts and help you to develop your startup plans.

Entrepreneurship workshops

We put together topical student enterprise events to help you to develop your enterprise skills and entrepreneurial ideas.

You can attend as many or as few sessions as you like. All workshops are FREE to students, graduates and staff. Make sure you book early as spaces are limited.

You will meet a range of like-minded peers and can talk to recent graduates who have taken the leap and started up since leaving university (and sometimes before). Established local entrepreneurs and recent graduates who’ve set up their own ventures also come in to share their advice and business experiences (both good and bad!).

One-to-one business support

Not sure if your idea has potential? Need some input to help take your business to the next stage? Wherever you're at with your business or idea, the Student Enterprise team team is happy to meet you on a one-to-one basis and offer guidance.

Please email the Student Enterprise team at beepurple@brighton.ac.uk to book a one-to-one meeting.
