Tuition fees are usually charged on an academic year / annual basis, depending on a student’s tuition fee status and the applicable fee regime. Fees will be subject to an annual review, and may increase annually throughout the student’s period of enrolment on the course (subject to any maximum regulated tuition fee limit).

What is included in the fees?

Mandatory requirements for your course are covered by the tuition fees. These include things such as health or criminal record checks, specialist materials and mandatory field trips.

Optional field trips, accommodation and course materials are not included in the tuition fees and you will need to pay for these yourself. Please contact the school that delivers your course about possible extra costs before you apply.

Fees for part-time students

The tuition fees for part-time postgraduate courses depend on how many modules you take in the year. For example, if you study half of the modules that a full-time student would study, you will pay 50% of the full-time fee.

You can find the fees of full-time courses in the course finder.

Once you decide how many modules you want to take, we can help you to calculate the fees.

Advice for part-time students

Paying your fees

There are a range of ways you can pay your tuition fees direct to the university. If you choose to pay by recurring card instruction you can pay your fees in up to six instalments.

Whether you take out a student loan or not, your first tuition fees payment must be paid to the university at the start of your course. You can choose to pay your tuition fees in full by this date, or to pay the first of your six instalments.
