Undergraduate degrees
Studying law at university will prepare you for a legal career as well as broader skills in analysis, logical reasoning and critical thinking - all of which are highly sought after in many careers.
Recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority as ‘Qualifying Law Degrees’ for 2021 entrants, all our law degrees also cover the foundations of legal knowledge required by the Bar Standards Board to satisfy the academic stage of training for barristers.
Our foundations of legal knowledge modules are also aligned with the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE), providing a solid base for you to prepare for SQE1 should you wish to qualify on the new solicitor’s route.
Postgraduate degrees
Designed for those working on the justice, social and consumer sectors, our postgraduate courses also support a career change to a solicitor or barrister.

Solicitor apprenticeship
An alternative to the traditional route to qualify as a solicitor, this apprenticeship is an ideal opportunity if you're looking for an alternative to university or seeking a change in career. A solicitor apprenticeship will last from five to six years. However, any previous legal training you’ve done might reduce this time.
