PhD degrees

Research and knowledge exchange at the School of Business and Law are deeply rooted in the mission to promote responsible enterprise for a fairer society. We offer a wide variety of PhDs in business and management at the School of Business and Law.

  • Business and Management PhDs

We also have research centres and groups which focus on the school’s particular strength in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Justice as well as Tourism and Sustainability.

The best thing about the course is the placement year, which I spent working for the marketing department of BMW. I was able to bring a lot of skills back to my final year and the relationships that I made helped me find a graduate job.

What our graduates say

Georges Nikolic

Georges-Aleksandar Nikolic, Business Management BSc(Hons)

"My internship was at the non-profit organisation, The Borgen Project, and I was one of only 5% of applicants that got accepted.

As the Marketing and Public Relations Intern I was involved in contacting influencers and media, including US Congress, to spread the word about ending global poverty and hunger."

Ibrahim Ali I Alwatid

Ibrahim Ali I Alwatid, Logistics and Supply Chain Management MSc

"One of the reasons I chose the university is the CIPS and CILT accreditations and that the University is a SAP member and offers students the opportunity to study and get critical SAP software skills, a globally popular enterprise planning system.

Learning this system provides students a competitive edge in the job market since most organisations use it in their planning systems."

Yousra Ennassih Hassani

Yousra Ennassih Hassani, International Business Management BSc(Hons)

"International business is an excellent course, not only because of the valuable business insight it offers, both national and international, but because of the awareness it develops.

The course has equipped me with skills from the start, but it has also made me see that there are loads of opportunities to improve our world’s economy."
