Ollie Swan, Head of Sustainability

As Head of team, Ollie’s role is to lead, coordinate and support others in the university's overall approach to managing our sustainability challenges. He is the lead for the development and delivery of the university’s sustainability strategy and environmental policies. Through partnerships he also leads on cultural behavioural change working to raise awareness and to embed our sustainability values and commitments.

Lucy Lisle, Sustainability and Travel Manager 

Lucy is responsible for management and implementation of the university’s travel plans, and supporting the development of the university’s sustainability strategy. Lucy also leads on our bespoke sustainability communication and engagement programme, c-change, working with students and staff to reduce their environmental impact and carbon footprint.

Janey Bray, Environmental and EMS Officer

Janey is responsible for waste minimisation and recycling across the university’s operations and halls of residence. She oversees the delivery of our waste contract and the implementation of our waste management policy. Janey is also responsible for the development and continual improvement of our Environmental Management System (EMS).

Jude Harkins, Sustainability and Energy Analyst

Jude is responsible for maintaining accurate records of environmental data including information on carbon, energy, waste, and travel. He is responsible for monitoring and analysis of data to identify and investigate trends, reduce our environmental impact and monitor progress against our targets.
