Eastbourne campus

Eastbourne is easy-going with the beach and countryside nearby. Our campus is set in the Meads area of this historic seaside town.

From the start of the academic year 2024–25 all School of Sport and Health Sciences courses will be based on our Falmer, Brighton campus. Check your course page for more information.

What's on campus

Our Eastbourne campus is just a mile from the town centre and even closer to the seafront. The Welkin halls of residence is home to more than 350 students. Our accommodation office can help you find a place to live if you prefer to rent privately.

Social scene - Eastbourne has a range of modern bars, more traditional pubs and live music venues popular with students, and being a compact town it's easy to find your friends on a night out.

Arts - Besides the modern Towner Contemporary Art Gallery there are also five theatres in Eastbourne and a number of arts and music festivals throughout the year.

Sports - On campus there is a 25-metre swimming pool, sports hall, gym, artificial outdoor pitch and dance studio. Our students take advantage of being close to the sea and the South Downs, exploring them on foot or by bike.

Food and drink on campus - There's a choice of cafes and restaurants on all of our campuses.
