Unihomes and unilets

We manage unihomes and unilets across Brighton and Eastbourne on behalf of home owners and letting agents. With this option the university is your landlord and you deal direct with us whilst enjoying the benefits of living in a shared house or flat.

You apply for unihomes and unilets in the same way as for halls and we view all accommodation to ensure it meets our standards.

Whilst we do not recommend students bring a car to university, we recognise that some courses involve frequent travel to placements or shift work where use of a private vehicle may be particularly helpful. In these circumstances, we recommend that students choose unihomes/unilets. Some university managed properties have on-street parking available nearby, let us know if you plan to bring a car when you apply and we will take this into account when allocating rooms. Please note that a parking permit is required in some areas.

Download our guides for more information and if you have any questions, the accommodation team are here to help – accommodation@brighton.ac.uk.

Living in a unihome has been a very enjoyable experience and has been important in shaping my first year at uni.
