The Student Advice Service is part of Student Operations and Support. The Student Advisers provide support to students on a wide range of finance-related issues, which includes checking you are getting the correct funding for your course, how to make your money go further, accessing DWP benefits and additional financial assistance if you are having financial difficulties and helping you when things go wrong.
The Student Advice Service is independent to your academic school and all advice is confidential, non-judgemental and free of charge.
Please contact us if you have any questions or if you want to find out more about the kind of support available.
