If you have been offered a NHS-funded place on an undergraduate nursing, midwifery, podiatry, physiotherapy, paramedic practice or occupational therapy course, your tuition fees are paid by the NHS. UK students may be eligible to apply for a bursary to help with living costs, which includes a non-means-tested grant and a means-tested bursary.
Once you have accepted our offer, please visit the NHS website to create a Bursary Online Support System (BOSS) account and apply online.
If you have been offered a place on the Paramedic Practice BSc(Hons), your tuition fees will be paid by Health Education Kent, Surrey and Sussex (HEKSS), formerly the Strategic Health Authority. You will also be entitled to a living allowance offered by HEKSS.
The university will send you an allowance application form in August or early September. You may also be entitled to apply for a reduced-rate maintenance loan from Student Finance England (residency rules apply).
