9.30am–12.30pm
Horsham

Do you want to help an employee feel more confident in maths and learn how to get your business to net zero at the same time? We’ve developed this three part workshop with the Multiply programme to help businesses get to grips with net zero and build employee numeracy skills. At the end of the workshop, you’ll understand: What net zero means for business. How to measure your carbon footprint. The actions you need to take to reduce it. Two people from each business should attend: one who doesn’t already have a grade C (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and one who does. The maths covered includes: Reading graphs and charts. Percentages. Entering numbers into an online carbon calculator tool. Working with numbers relating to your carbon footprint, including electricity bills and vehicle mileage records. To be eligible, your business must be an SME based in West Sussex. At least one participant from each business who doesn’t have a grade C (or equivalent) on Maths should attend.
