The Green Growth Platform will be leading a new £3.5m ‘clean growth’ network project.
Clean Growth UK will be a partnership with Liverpool John Moores University and the University of Portsmouth, and its mission will be to help businesses transform innovative ideas to tackle climate change into commercialised products and services.
We’ll be offering additional services developed for businesses via Clean Growth UK, including:
- a national investor network
- help with the steps needed to attract investors
- the opportunity to work with corporate partners to develop and trial new products and services
- guidance around commercialising innovations.
Clean Growth UK will launch in early 2019
The Green Growth Platform’s existing services are available as normal, and green focused businesses in Sussex can continue to tap into business support, events, grants and R&D support. Whilst we develop the additional services there may be times when we have to extend our usual turnaround times over the coming year, so please bear with us.
We’ll keep you updated as we develop the Clean Growth UK programme, so keep an eye out for more info over the coming months.
Zoe Osmond, Director of the Green Growth Platform, said:
This is an exciting opportunity to join forces with some of the leading clean growth business networks in the UK, and to create enduring links between the University knowledge base and 4,000+ dynamic and innovative low carbon, environmental businesses.
