Study for your PhD with the Centre for Transforming Sexuality and Gender

The centre supports postgraduate research study in all areas related to progressive understanding of sexuality and gender.

We believe in fostering innovative and independent research skills in all our postgraduate researchers. These skills include the ability to clearly identify a focused research problem, conduct original research and articulate findings through critical discourse and published papers.

Our approach encourages work across many disciplines and actively supports inter-disciplinary postgraduate work for traditional and practice-led PhDs. For more information, please contact us at sexgencentre@brighton.ac.uk
