Settling in
We know it can be daunting to move country, so we will help you to settle in by:
Home from home
Brighton has a huge international restaurant scene, so you will be able to find comforting food that reminds you of home. The city has everything from traditional Middle Eastern mezze to authentic South Asian cuisine, East Asian restaurants and South American food. You can explore local restaurants on websites such as Tripadvisor. If you prefer to cook your own meals, the city has a number of international shops where you can buy authentic spices, ingredients, halal meat and fresh produce.
In addition, there are halal, vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free food options available on all our campuses.
Your employability
Whether you are studying a bachelors degree or adding to your existing qualifications with a masters level course, it’s important to think about how you will use your time at university to benefit your career after graduation.
All of our courses either offer the opportunity for a placement or have work-related learning embedded to help you apply your academic skills and knowledge in a professional environment. You’ll also have access to our international student jobs portal to help you find graduate work in the UK and abroad.
