International students apply to the university in the same way as UK students, but there are different application procedures for different types of courses:

Details of the academic and English language requirements for your course are on our course finder. We help many students from Korea to improve their qualifications to meet entry requirements.
We require a Korean High School Diploma plus an international foundation year or equivalent.
We require applicants to hold either a bachelor’s degree (Haksa 학사) with a high GPA (minimum 75% / 2.8 GPA) or a master’s degree (Suksa 석사) from a prestigious Korean university. The Suksa is considered comparable to British master's degree standard

We will not accept a South Korean English language qualification as meeting our minimum English language proficiency requirements.

Immigration and visas
Generally, prior entry clearance (ie a visa) is required for students coming from South Korea. To obtain a visa you will need to have an unconditional offer of a place at the University of Brighton and your CAS number from the university. You will need to prove that you have the funds to pay your tuition fees and living expenses.
