Academic equivalencies
Undergraduate
We require a Korean High School Diploma plus an international foundation year or equivalent.
Students with the first year of a South Korean bachelor degree (Haksa) or an Associate Degree / Junior College Diploma (jeonmun haksa / jun haksa) can be considered on a case-by-case basis, and may be considered for advanced entry subject to admissions assessment.
Postgraduate
We require applicants to hold either a bachelor’s degree (Haksa 학사) with a GPA of 2.6/4.0 or 2.8/4.5, or a masters degree (Suksa 석사) from a prestigious Korean university.
English language requirements
We will not accept a South Korean English language qualification as meeting our minimum English language proficiency requirements. Find out more about our English language requirements.

Degree preparation courses at the International College
If you complete your pathway course at the International College at the required level, you are guaranteed entry to a degree at the University of Brighton. Available degree subject areas include accounting and finance, art and design, business management, international hospitality management, law with business, international event management, and many more.
