There are currently 10 students and 24 alumni of the university who are from Mexico. Students from Mexico choose the University of Brighton because of our strong standing in key subject areas of interest.

We require students taking the Bachillerato to take and successfully complete an international foundation year or equivalent.
We require a Título de Licenciado / Título (Profesional) de [subject area] when awarded after four years of study.

There is no unified marking system as grades or numbers may be used. However, commonly a scale of 0-10 is used with 6 as the minimum pass mark. The scale is as follows:

Immigration and visas
Generally, prior entry clearance (ie a visa) is required for students coming from Mexico. To obtain a visa you will need to have an unconditional offer of a place at the University of Brighton and your CAS number from the university. You will need to prove that you have the funds to pay your tuition fees and living expenses.
