What to include
Provide 15–20 example images that show a range of your creative work from previous or current academic studies, including any recent work you may have undertaken in practice or independently.
Include work that demonstrates:
- spatial exploration within design
- drawing and representation skills across a range of media
- creative work such as, but not limited to, photography, spatial performance, augmented reality, virtual reality, projection mapping, printmaking and making
- design ambition.
Tips
- Arrange your work in a clear order so we can follow how your ideas develop.
- Label each image (title, date, material or process).
- Quality of thinking is more important than perfection.
How to present your work
Include a title page or slide in your portfolio, which states:
- your full name
- the course title(s) applied for.
Combine images and written work and save as a single pdf (recommended), then share this on a platform such as Google Drive, Adobe Portfolio or your own website.
How to share your portfolio
First, activate your University of Brighton username and password – after you apply, we will tell how to do this. This will enable you to access Student View, where we will ask you to share a link to your portfolio.
