School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics

We offer undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in computing, digital media, engineering, mathematics and data analytics.

Our courses are designed with input from industry and are informed by our consultancy work and the applied research we do, ensuring that they are up-to-date, relevant and help develop skills valued by employers.

With a focus on practical learning and real-world application of knowledge our students have the opportunity to gain work experience on placement and have access to specialist facilities that replicate industry.

The School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics is based in the Cockcroft and Watts buildings on the Moulsecoomb site. This is just north of the seafront and the centre of Brighton, with great transport links into the city centre and the rest of the UK.
