Email

We’ll sometimes contact you via your university email with news, events and announcements.

Emails will cover subjects ranging from health and financial matters, jobs and career opportunities, to essential and urgent updates that may affect your studies or university accommodation.

So, please regularly check your university email - you’ll find it through My Brighton (my.brighton.ac.uk) or via Office 365.

If you’re not getting these emails, get in touch with us at studentcomms@brighton.ac.uk to re-subscribe.

How to set up your email

There's a few online tasks you should complete when you join us - find them and information how to set up your email.

My Brighton

My Brighton is our student portal. It brings together your email, calendar and timetable, study modules and lots more – all in one place.

Accessible via any web browser, My Brighton (my.brighton.ac.uk) features important announcements, news feeds from your school, the library, events from the Students’ Union and much, much more.

Log into My Brighton via the web

The university may text you in an emergency so please tell us if you change your number. 

You should also keep other contact details updated (including term and home addresses) – you can do this in Student View via My Brighton.
