Scholarships and awards

The Student Potential Fund is our spark that ignites futures and empowers students like you to achieve their goals by funding four key areas: scholarships, wellbeing, student experience, and entrepreneurship through the opportunities listed below.

Whatever journey you are on, our community is here to help you stay curious and put what you’re learning into practise. Through our annual Giving Day (5 and 6 April 2022), we ask our alumni, staff, and friends to help us help you by donating to the Student Potential Fund.

This Giving Day, current students are sharing how the Student Potential Fund has had a positive impact on their personal and academic lives, and how it has enabled them to embrace their own story of excellence at the university and beyond.

Watch our students inspiring stories.

The value of receiving a scholarship or award made possible by the Student Potential Fund does more than give you a financial boost. As a fantastic accomplishment, the award can make a difference when applying for a job or progressing to postgraduate study, helping you to stand out from the crowd.

Discover how you could benefit from the Student Potential Fund. Check out the funding opportunities below made possible by donors and friends of the University of Brighton.
