Isle of Man and Channel Island students

This information about fees is for students starting in the 2021–22 academic year.

The tuition fees for students from the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands are the same as for UK students, except for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Brighton and Sussex Medical School.

As an island student you are not eligible for student funding from the UK government, but you could be eligible for funding from your island education office.

How much will my fees be?

Undergraduate tuition fees for Isle of Man and Channel Island students in 2021–22

*Many of our courses include the option of a salaried placement year.

Further tuition fees are payable for each subsequent year of study and are subject to an annual increase of no more than 5% or RPI (whichever is the greater).

What is included in the fees?

Mandatory requirements for your course are covered by the tuition fees. These include things such as health or criminal record checks, specialist materials and mandatory field trips.

Optional field trips, accommodation and course materials are not included in the tuition fees and you will need to pay for these yourself. Please contact the school that delivers your course about possible extra costs before you apply.

 Island students are not eligible for student funding from the UK government.
