University campus tours

Campus tours are for students who are thinking about applying for an undergraduate degree at Brighton. You’ll be able to take a tour of one of our campuses with a student ambassador and get a sense of whether Brighton is the right university for you.

Our winter campus tours have now finished, but if you have an offer we'd welcome you to join our on-campus applicant events taking place in March and April.

If you have not received an offer, we are hosting online applicant events in February or you can visit us at one of our summer open days (booking not yet open).

What to expect on the day

  • A campus tour is the ideal opportunity to see the campus where your subject is based and take a tour of the accommodation.
  • The tour around campus will include sports facilities, libraries, cafes, a lecture theatre, general teaching rooms and accommodation, as well as social and informal study spaces.
  • One of our student ambassadors will lead the tour. They'll tell you about campus life as well as sharing their top tips on the best places to hang out and take a break from your studies.
  • Your tour will last up to 1.5 hours, with plenty of time to ask your student ambassador questions.
  • You can bring one guest with you.
  • As campus tours are to see the general spaces around campus they do not include subject information or access to subject-specific facilities.
  • Campus tours run on normal teaching days so it is unlikely we'll be able to show you specific subject facilities to minimise disruption to current students’ learning. After you apply to us, for most courses, you'll be invited to an applicant day in the spring where you'll hear about your course, meet your course leader and see subject facilities.
