The Brighton Doctoral College is an internationally diverse community of scholars seeking to generate new knowledge about, and understanding of, complex problems of global significance.
One third of the College’s students are from overseas, representing more than 50 countries worldwide. Of these, many are funded by one of the 20 international Governments and other sponsors who recognise the College as a trusted partner in doctoral training. We have students funded through Ciência sem Fronteiras - Reino Unido, Commonwealth Scholarship Scheme, Saudi Cultural Bureau, Petroleum Technology Development Fund, Nigeria, The Libyan Peoples Bureau, Embassy of the State of Kuwait and Ditki.
The College is also globally connected, with opportunities for students to travel abroad, to visit partner research centres and to participate in international meetings and conferences.
