I’m enormously grateful to the Brazilian Science Without Borders programme for the opportunity of doing my PhD at the University of Brighton.
The University of Brighton offers great facilities and resources to research students such as up-to-date library facilities, a wide range of web-based materials, offices and laboratories. The Doctoral College’s researcher development workshops provide valuable academic and professional skills; the Doctoral College also encourages and supports attendance at local and national conferences and workshops.
I consider myself very much part of a research community at Brighton; I have a great relationship with fellow students, academic staff and my supervisors, who are always encouraging and supportive.
I’m extremely grateful to Science Without Borders and the University of Brighton for this life changing opportunity.
