You will be guaranteed a place in halls of residence for your first year of study, including Christmas and Easter, providing that you firmly accept your offer of a place and apply by the accommodation deadline.
Staying in halls for a year
If you are interested in a full-year tenancy it is possible to apply for a 50 or 51 week tenancy in one of the halls listed below, and then to arrange the additional one or two week stay later in the year (ideally get in touch with us before June).
- Varley Park – The Hub (50 weeks)
- Falmer – Great Wilkins (50 weeks)
- Moulsecoomb – Mithras Halls (51 weeks).
If you indicate a preference for halls with a 39-week tenancy it is possible to stay in halls for a full year but in that case you'd need to spend the additional time over the summer in the Hub or Great Wilkins. If you accept a 39-week tenancy but require a longer tenancy, contact the accommodation team from April to check availability for summer accommodation.
We can also help you find accommodation for your second year. Get in touch with us before the end of the academic year if you'd like some help.
If you would prefer to live in the private sector, rather than university accommodation, our advisers can help you find private accommodation. If you have any questions you can email the accommodation office at firstname.lastname@example.org or find us on Facebook.
