School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences

We specialise in education and research in the fields of pharmacy, biology, biomedical sciences, chemistry and ecology. Our diversity provides an excellent environment to tackle global problems using multidisciplinary research approaches.

Our core value is to provide excellence in teaching and learning in order to provide graduates with employability enhancing skills. The school offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate, postgraduate degrees, and PhD opportunities. Our extensive pure and applied research together with consultancy and outreach activity ensures that these courses are up to date, relevant and serve the needs of students, employers and society.

The curriculum is modern and pertinent, with the pharmacy, biomedical science and chemistry degrees having full professional accreditation, and close links with Brighton and Sussex Medical School.

The school is located on the Moulsecoomb campus, about two miles from the city centre, seafront and pier. As well as being one of the warmest and sunniest cities in the UK, Brighton is cosmopolitan, eclectic and fun.
