Geography, the Earth and environment degrees

Geography is the study of the world and how it works – it connects the physical, natural and built environment and human society. We'll encourage you to push boundaries as you examine issues including the climate crisis, human impact on the environment, global sustainability and social change.

In geography and environmental studies, 100% of our research impact is assessed as outstanding or very considerable in terms of its reach and significance in the 2021 Research Excellence Framework.
