For enquiries about accessing your agent account, general enquiries or pre-application enquiries, please email agentapps@brighton.ac.uk and note the following important information:

  • We will not be processing duplicate applications for the same student, so please do not make a second application as this will be deleted.

Visas and CAS

Offer holders that require a Student visa will need a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number from us to submit as part of their visa application.

To request a CAS number for the University of Brighton, students will need to have been made an unconditional offer and firmly accepted it.

The link to the University of Brighton CAS questionnaire will appear in Student View, under the Visa information tab. Students need to complete the questionnaire, upload copies of all required documents and then click submit. Self-funded students must also pay the international tuition fee deposit.

Students can find lots of useful advice and guidance on our visas and immigration webpages. Our Student Advice Service also provides high quality free and confidential immigration advice. They can be contacted via the visa enquiry form.

Fees and funding

Our international tuition fees vary based on the type of course studied.

Self-funded international students who require a visa to study in the UK are required to pay a tuition fee deposit of £5,000 before the university will issue a Confirmation for Acceptance for Studies (CAS) number (unless they are exempt). The deposit payment is made in Student View using Flywire.

Please ensure students are logging in to Student View to make their payment via Flywire, and following the below steps:

  • Log into their Student View account
  • Select ‘Your offer’ in the left-hand menu
  • Then select ‘Information on your offer’ from the drop-down list that appears

Frequently asked questions

Agent portal and applications

How can I check the status of my student applications?

For questions about an application that you have already submitted, or if you wish to send supporting documents, please do this through the messages tab on the agent portal.

Please only submit your questions/messages and documents once on the agent portal, as sending multiple messages can cause our agent portal to crash and be unresponsive. During busy periods, such as throughout August and Clearing, our team may take longer to reply to you due to the volume of requests, but please rest assured you don't need to chase.

Who do I contact for support?

For enquiries about accessing your agent account, general questions or pre-application enquiries, please email agentapps@brighton.ac.uk

Please note the following important information:

  • We will not be processing duplicate applications for the same student so please do not make a second application as this will be deleted.
  • Where possible, please group requests by course name and include the student number(s) in the body of your email.
  • We are not able to change the agent a student is tagged to until the tuition fee deposit has been paid. In order to tag a student to a different agent other than the organisation that submitted the original application, you will need to submit the following evidence:
    • a copy of the passport data page for the applicant
    • an email screenshot evidencing that the student's deposit has been paid
    • a confirmation email from the student confirming they have switched agencies.

Agent commission

What will speed up my commission payment?

For September entry:

  • 50% of fee by 31 October
  • Remaining balance by 31 January

For January entry:

  • 50% of fee by 28 February
  • Remaining balance by 31 May

What is the commission timeline?
